Grand Rapids Auto Repair

My wife and I have been doing business with Jack's Auto Service Center for at least 10 years. I am 59 and have lived in many places and had service done by many dealers and auto repair shops over the years. Jack's has previously worked on our '87 Dodge Raider (now sold), and currently services my '99 Mazda Protegé ES and my wife's 2000 Honda CR-V. I have some auto mechanical background knowledge from when I was younger, and recognize excellent repair and service work, done in a timely way and at a fair price. That said, I can unequivocally say that Jack's Auto Service Center is THE BEST auto service center I and my wife have ever done business with (Note my ratings in "Repair Shop Qualities.) Therefore, my wife and I would HIGHLY recommend Jack's to anyone who may need vehicle servicing in Grand Rapids (Minnesota) and the surrounding area.

Not the cheapest shop in town, but you get what you pay for! They seem to be as honest a shop as I have had occassion to use. Respond well in emergency situations.

My father actually recommended this garage to me. These guys have been doing repairs on our family cars for as long as we've lived in this area. Never had a bad experience with them that I know of. I've had my own car in there a couple of times now. The first time was to fix a major oil leak that had been caused by another mechanic (who wasn't around to fix it at the time I noticed it). The next time was when the shift linkage on my manual transmission became worn and started falling off. Initially, the wrong part was sent over from the dealership, but it didn't take long for them to get the correct part and put it in. Both times the price was reasonable. Kevin is the mechanic who usually works on my car, but all the guys there are great. Their garage hours are 9 to 5, but if you catch one of them just before closing, they won't hesitate to work on your car for you.
